A simple written marketing plan

A plan sets price targets and dates in advance, so you sell in pieces instead of all at once under pressure.

A written plan lists how many bushels you expect, your break-even, and price targets or dates to sell portions, for example a set share at each target, or a share by a set date if no target is hit.

Surveys find only a minority of farmers have one, and rallies can last only hours. Targets set in advance can be placed as orders or alerts so you don't miss them.

Our My plan page keeps score: % sold, your average price vs your cost and vs USDA's season average.
